Dear Givology,



Thank you very much for your kindness. Everything goes well at school. My teachers care about me very much, and my classmates also help me a lot. I study the humanities at school. And my favorite subjects are Chinese and English, which I have learnt pretty well. Though I don’t do well at my Geography, I will try my best to improve my performance. I don’t want to lag behind, I want to perform better.


I am fond of playing Ping-Pong. However, I have too much homework so that I do not play much Ping-Pong recently. But I still love playing it. Because of my interest in literature, I tried to write an article about love. But I did not modify it because of lack of time and other reasons. Although I do not have much time, I am more willing to spend time playing games. I want to be more organized and self-disciplined so that I can have more time to study.


My grandpa is blind, my grandma has been sick for a long time and my dad is not well either. Thus, my mum is the only bread-winner at home. Now we are suffering from financial constraints. I have a brother who is three years younger than me. He is fifteen years old now but still in the sixth grade. Because of our financial difficulties, he started schooling very late. Though naughty, he is doing well at his studies.


Since I started to go to school, I have had four dreams. The first is to be the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Although I know it is kind of impractical, I will try to approach the goal step by step. Even though it would not be realized, I will put my effort into it. My second dream is to be an excellent Ping-Pong player, which should not be very difficult for me. I believe that I can achieve the goal through my hard work! My third dream is to be a singer because I am good at expressing my love by singing. Though it does not fit me because I do not have a good singing voice, it is still a dream and goal in my mind. My final dream is to be an English or Chinese teacher. I especially like English. In my opinion, if I can speak fluent English, I can communicate with foreigners easily, which would make me very happy. I wish I can go back to my hometown to be a teacher so that I can be a role model in our primary school, who can cultivate the kids like me in the remotely mountainous areas. I think I will try my best to do it. I am confident that I can bring back knowledge and happiness for kids in my hometown.


I write this to say thank you to uncles and aunts in Givology and to send my greetings to you, by whom I am taken care of so that I can grow up happily. I can overcome various difficulties in my life to climb up to the highest and most magnificent summit with the most gorgeous view.


Behind an able man there are always other able men. I do not ask myself to be the brightest one among all the stars. Instead I only hope I can be a common one, who can do whatever he wants to and try to do the best he can for the society. If so, there will be nothing to regret!
